Socialist Front Of Nepal Holds Meeting At PM Dahal’s Residence In Kathmandu

Kathmandu, July 11, 2024: The constituent parties of the Socialist Front of Nepal, a coalition of four Communist and Socialist parties, met on Wednesday to discuss ways to increase the Front’s active presence in the country.

Following the meeting, Nepal Samajbadi Party Chair Mahendra Raya Yadav told RSS that there was an informal discussion between the leaders about how to make the Socialist Front an active force in Nepali politics.

The discussion was held at the Prime Minister’s Residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday evening.

Yadav said that there was a discussion about expanding the Front in all seven of Nepal’s provinces.

Prime Minister and Chair of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, President of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal and respected leader Jhalanath Khanal, CPN General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, and leaders of Nepal Samajbadi Party including its Chair Yadav participated in the discussion.

The meeting was also briefed about the latest political developments in Nepal.
