Woman Naxalite killed in Kurkheda taluka
NAGPUR: Gadchiroli police have managed to recover body of a woman Naxalite following an encounter at the forest of Botezhari-Bodgaon in Kurkheda taluka on Thursday. A day earlier, the security forces have managed to seize two 12 bore air rifles from the forest of Nihaikal in Gyarapatti.
Gadchiroli police have claimed that Naxalites retreated following a fierce fire exchange in the latest action following an input-based operation by the security personnel.
It was during the searches at the spot the body of the woman Naxalites, in uniform, was found. The body was shifted to the Gadchiroli police headquarters where the process of identifying it are underway.
