CPI Maoist In AOB Region Demand Government Take Measures To Combat COVID-19 Pandemic

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Andhra Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee (AOBSZC) of the CPI (Maoist) demanded the governments should set up one primary health centre (PHC) in every panchayat and equip PHC with ventilators in rural and tribal areas.

The Maoists have also asked the governments to provide adequate medical staff for better medical facilities for people amid the coronavirus pandemic adding that the governments should also waive off all kinds of loans and provide new loans. In a press release in the name of AOBSZC of the CPI (Maoist), the party have also asked people to shun ganja cultivation in agency and cultivate food grains.

They asked the public to demand at least 10 kg rice, 3 kg dal, 2 kg oil, salt, onion, garlic, ginger and other essential goods for every month free of cost. The government should also provide 200 working days for each family in rural areas under MNREGS.

The Maoists have also asked the public not to go out for employment as migrant labour and should also not allow the contractors, businessman, traders and laborers into villages. Now, the villages required doctors in these pandemic conditions not cops.
