Cadres Of CPI Maoist Engage In Sabotage Action In Bhadradri Kothagudem District As Part Of Protest Day

Hyderabad: Maoists blasted a small causeway across Pagidi Vagu rivulet in Cherla police limits in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Wednesday morning.

A team of Maoists were stated to have used buckets filled with gelatin to blast the causeway as part of the protest called by the Dhadakaranya Special Zonal Committee and Telangana State Committee of the CPI(Maoist) against the recent Supreme Court order on SC/ST Atrocities (Prevention) act. The Maoists had called for observing April 25 as the protest day.
