CPI (Maoist) Squad Torches Truck At Road Construction Site In Rayagada District

Rayagada District, January 22, 2022: A squad of cadres belonging to the CPI (Maoist) torched a truck at a road construction site in Budaguda village under Kalyansingpur police limits of Rayagada district on Friday night.

Reportedly, the truck had been deployed by a company engaged in the construction on National Highway 45.

Two banners of the CPI (Maoist) have also been found put up near the construction site threatening politicians starting from ward members to ministers.

Taking note of the report, an FIR has been registered into the matter. Meanwhile, combing operations have began to track down the Maoists involved in the incident, said sources.
