CPI (Maoist) Squad Carries Out Execution Of A Party Cadre In Telangana State For Acting As A Covert Operative For Police

Bhadradri Kothagudem District, August 21, 2024: A squad of cadres belonging to the CPI (Maoist) carried out the execution of a cadre of the Maoist party identified as Neelso alias Banti Radha, branding her as a ‘covert operative’ of the police, in Chennapuram forest area of Telangana’s Charla mandal along the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border around midnight on Tuesday, a police official announced to the press today.

According to police sources, the body of the executed Maoist cadre was found in the dense forest area near Chennapuram this morning.

In a statement released this morning, the Maoist party’s Andhra-Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee (AOBSZC) said Radha, a native of New Indiranagar in Hyderabad, was executed for ‘betraying’ the Maoist party and becoming part of a ‘covert operation’ by the police against the party leadership.

Radha joined the CPI (Maoist) in 2018 and worked as a dalam member and later as a zonal military instructor and a commander of the protection team of the top leaders of the Maoist party.

“Radha turned a traitor at the behest of the police and she was suspended from the commander post three months ago,” the AOBSZC secretary, Comrade Genesh, said in the statement.

“She was punished after an inquiry with the consent of people for betraying the revolutionary movement,” Comrade Ganesh remarked in the statement, claiming that the CPI (Maoist) have foiled a ‘covert operation’ by the police to ‘eliminate’ the party leadership.
