2 BSF Jawans Injured In IED Blast Allegedly Triggered By CPI (Maoist) Cadres In Narayanpur District
Narayanpur District, January 17, 2025: Two Border Security Force (BSF) personnel sustained injuries after an improvised explosive device (IED), allegedly planted by cadres of the Maoist party, exploded in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district on Friday, a senior police official announced to the press today.
According to the police official, the blast occurred in the morning when a BSF Road-Opening Party (BSF-ROP) was on patrol between it’s camp and Garpa village.
In his report, the police official stated that the injured security personnel were immediately rushed to the nearby healthcare facilities and are being treated, and that more details about the incident are still awaited.
In conclusion, the police official said that the incident took place on the heels of another IED blast near Putkel village under Basaguda police station limits in Bijapur district on Thursday morning, injuring two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel.
