PFLP Delegation Meets With House Speaker Of Lebanon’s Parliament

Beirut, October 20, 2022: House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Thursday met at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh, with Deputy Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Jamil Mezher, who visited him with an accompanying delegation from the Front’s command.

The meeting took place in the presence of Amal Movement’s politburo member, Mohammad Jibawi.

Discussions reportedly touched on the current developments inside the occupied Palestinian territories in light of the escalation of Israeli aggression against the Islamic and Christian holy sites in al-Quds al-Sharif and al-Aqsa Mosque.

Speaker Berri saluted the steadfastness and resistance of the Palestinian people and their heroism in the face of the Israeli occupation and its Judaization schemes.

On the other hand, Berri met with former Vice Speaker, Elie Ferzli, with whom he discussed the most recent political developments.

On emerging, Ferzli said that Speaker Berri is highly keen on electing a president who will preserve the Taif Agreement and will work to implement it in letter and spirit.
