Arrest warrant for Biplav in Bhojpur

The Bhojpur District Court in Province 1 of Nepal has issued an arrest warrant for Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’.

The fringe Maoist party has been carrying out various disruptive activities in many parts of the country.

The warrant has been sent to Biplav’s home district in Kapilvastu and the District Police Office there has pasted the notice on the wall of his house in local Shivanagar Municipality, according to police.

“We have already heeded the order,” says DSP Narendra Kumar Karki.
