3 Alleged CPI (Maoist) Cadres Detained By Security Personnel In Bijapur District

Bijapur District, September 29, 2024: Three persons alleged to be cadres of the CPI (Maoist) were taken into custody by security personnel in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, a police official announced to the press today.

Budhram Korsa, Chhotu Lekam and Lakhan Kunjam, all reported to be cadres of the Maoist party, were detained by security forces on Saturday near Nainpal and Pulsumpara villages under Gangalur police station limits, the police official declared.

“The three individuals believed to be Maoists were apprehended during an anti-Maoist operation begun by the District Reserve Guard and local police on Friday. We seized a tiffin bomb, detonating cord, safety fuse and Maoist materials from them,” the police official added.
