2 Naxalites Killed During Clash With Police In Bijapur District

Bijapur District, May 29, 2024: Two Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security personnel in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Wednesday, a police official announced to the press today.

The firefight took place in a forest under Madded police station limits when a team of security personnel was out on an anti-Naxal operation, a senior police official said.

Following the gun battle the bodies of two Naxalites, along with weapons, were recovered from the site of the skirmish, the police official declared.

The operation was still underway and further details were awaited, the police official added.
