Cadres Of Chand Led CPN Exchange Fire With Police In Sankhuwasabha District

Sankhuwasabha District, December 27: A gunfight between cadres of the Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and police took place at Chainpur 4 of Sankhuwasabha district.

Police said no untoward incident has occurred during the firing.

Chief District Officer Jivan Prasad Acharya said a clash took place between Biplav led CPN cadres and police at around 3 pm.

According to him, police retaliated after the Biplav led CPN cadres attacked a police patrol team.
